Dr. Dennis Williams is the founder and president of Geoscience. He has more than 45 years of experience in groundwater hydrology – having directed geohydrologic investigations domestically and globally – and has designed and supervised more than 1,000 deep large-scale municipal water supply wells. He pioneered the use of subsurface intakes using slant wells for feed water supply, designing and constructing the first slant wells for testing near Dana Point and Monterey, CA.
Dr. Williams has authored more than 50 publications on groundwater and wells and served as a chief reviewer for the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Hydraulics of Wells (2014).
He also serves on many experts and blue-ribbon panels for the groundwater industry and frequently testifies as an expert in groundwater hydrology in civil litigation. Dr. Williams is an active member of numerous professional associations relating to the groundwater industry and is a frequently sought after speaker at workshops, conferences, and symposia on a variety of groundwater issues.
